Welcome to the first internet based, Star Wars dedicated collecting club for the state of Michigan. The Michigan Star Wars Collectors Club (MSWCC) is a forum through which those who live in the state of Michigan can discuss Star Wars. From new to vintage items, toys, collectibles, shows, theater releases, and anything else Star Wars related. There are monthly local meetings and an email list for daily discussion. The email list and meetings are a great way to see some really rare collectibles, great customs, talk "shop" and most of all, help complete your own collection through buying, selling and trading with fellow members. Overall, the MSWCC strives to be a place where we can get to know one another through our common locales and interests. Enjoy your visit to our site and... Purpose: To encourage Michigan residents in the discussion of Star Wars and Star Wars collecting as it relates to Michigan. (Scalpers need not apply) This mailing list is an addition to the Michigan Star Wars Collectors Club (MSWCC). Meeting attendance is encouraged but not required. Who Can Join: Anyone who is a resident of Michigan. If a member moves out of state, he/she is allowed to remain on the list, but should realize that most of the discussion may become irrelevant to him/her. Discussion: Appropriate topics will be anything Star Wars related, but most topics should have relevance to happenings in Michigan. For example, upcoming toy shows, MSWCC meetings, theater showings, etc. Profanity is stongly discouraged. Click here to read the basic MSWCC mailing list rules. How To Join: It is a two step process to join the mailing list. Step 1: Click on the "Yahoo Groups Join Now!" button on the left. This will take you to a webpage that will allow you to apply for membership to the MSWCC mailing list. Once you have subscribed to the MSWCC mailing list, you will need to reply to the e-mail message that the YahooGroups.com server sends to you to verify your intention to join the list. Note: Our mailing list is hosted by YahooGroups.com and therefore registration with YahooGroups.com is required. Step 2: Please send us your full name and snail mail address, with the subject heading: MSWCC LIST. This info is required before the mailing list moderator will add you to the mailing list. Our mailing list is a restricted list, which means that you must be approved to join before you will be allowed to send and receive messages to the list. Please send your name and address to John Muse, the MSWCC mailiing list administrator. This info will only be used by the MSWCC for administrative purposes and will not be published or released to anyone else.
